Wrecked Hooligan was launched in 2012 as an independent Punk Rock label based in South Bend, IN and surrounding areas by Heath Hooligan. Initially we formed as a way to promote Cause For Concern, The Toxics and Randy and the Finks, but the concept expanded into promoting Midwestern bands. Wrecked offered audio recording in Heath's DIY studio, and booked and promoted shows in South Bend with the help of Bill Finn and other area promoters.
In March of 2012 the label released what was to be a series of compilations titled "No Coast, No Problem" which would feature bands from the Midwest Exclusively. Also in March 2012, Wrecked Hooligan released Cause For Concern's "Dying City EP" .
During the Summer and Fall of 2012, they also produced the Wrecked Hooligan Punk as Fuck Hour podcast hosted by Heath Hooligan and stand up comedian Dan Janicki. This podcast was hosted on Eclecnet for 11 episodes and featured the music of many artists from all over the country, and comedic banter between Heath and Dan.
In October of 2013, the Wrecked Hooligan disbanded due to personal issues and has sat dormant for the last 8 years. Heath decided to re-launch Wrecked Hooligan in July 0f 2021 as an apparel brand promoting music, art and design and Midwest Underground culture. The goal is to revive and expand on the No Coast No Problem Collection, promote Bands, artists and Creators who are fueling the underground scene and to contribute to South Bend's thriving underground culture.
